My favorite places to shop

There are TONS of online shops that sell wonderful cloth diapers and other eco friendly products but not all are created equal. I wanted to share some of my favorite places to shop online. I am in no way being endorsed by any of these companies. I know there are plenty more yet to be discovered, but I just wanted to share the places that I've dealt with personally. One of my biggest requirements when shopping online is to never pay for shipping, so unless otherwise noted, none of these stores charge for shipping. I would personally rather put the money for shipping into more CD goodness :)

www.AbbysLane.com
By far one of my favorite online retailers of all time. Stephanie and her team at Abby's Lane are by far some of the nicest and most helpful gals out there. Her customer service is incomparable. She responds very fast to any questions or concerns and is very helpful at finding a solution should you run into any problems. I had an issue with a used Ergo that I purchase from the website and she went above and beyond to rectify the mistake. I am always a very happy and satisfied customer when I shop with them. "Like" them on Facebook for lots of giveaways, tips, sales, news and more. You can also subscribe to the newsletter that includes a 5% off coupon code HERE. Abby's Lane also has a "rewards" program were you can earn "Abby's Lane Dollars" where every dollar spent is worth a point that can be redeemed for store credit. To find out more about this fun program go HERE.

www.SewCraftyBaby.com
I'm a little new to this site, but I've heard great things about them. I placed my first order with them yesterday and have been really pleased with their service so far. I had emailed back and forth a couple of times with Jennifer before I placed my order and she was very helpful and sweet. She has a 10% off coupon code for those that "like" the store on Facebook and just yesterday she posted a 15% off code for a limited time! I couldn't pass up a deal like that! She also carries a great deal of other fun products like Amber Teething Necklaces, samples, and TONS of baby leg warmers. They also sell gently used items at deep discounts. What I like most about SCB is the variety in items and price ranges. She carries a few really low cost diapers and accessories that make it really affordable, especially when you add on the coupon codes. They also do a rewards program similar to Abby's Lane but broken down into different price increments. Go HERE for more info on the Sew Crafty Baby Kickback Program

www.cottonbabies.com
Makers of BumGenius, Econobum, Flip Diaper System and more. They're leaders in the industry with lots of different products on their website. I personally, have only bought their "seconds" (i.e. slightly irregular), but they're at a great price and still excellent quality. It's best to become a fan on Facebook or sign up for their newsletters to be the first to know about their sales because they go FAST! You can easily google coupon codes for addition discounts.

Spots Corner is another favorite. You never know what you're going to find or what steal of a deal you're going to come across. Its a place where you can list your used CD's and other items for sale. It's really user friendly, and even though I haven't sold from there (yet!), I have bought quite a few things with great success. Be sure to compare prices to make sure you are getting a good deal. Many times the prices don't include shipping so make sure after all is said and done you're still getting your money's worth. Ask for more pictures if you are on the fence, and READ REVIEWS of the seller. www.diaperswappers.com is another popular site that is dedicated to selling and trading CD's but I haven't used it personally.

Well there you have it. Some of my favorite places to do my online diaper shopping (or daydreaming depending on what we can squeeze into the budget!). Feel free to comment on any of the stores I've mentioned or let me know about others, I'm always in search for the best deal! Happy shopping (or browsing) mama's!

Well hello there...

I'm starting on a new adventure of blogging. I want to spread the word and help anyone out there interested in cloth diapering. We have been using cloth since our daughter was 2 months old and are so incredibly happy and thankful we made the switch!
My goal is to help educate YOU by our experiences. I am by NO MEANS an expert, heck, I'm still learning quite a bit myself, but several of my friends have inquired about cloth via email, Facebook, and telephone so I thought I would put it all down in one place!

There are many many many wonderful blogs, forums, and websites out there that are incredibly helpful when it comes to finding out info on cloth diapering (herein referred to by "CDing"), but like I mentioned earlier, I just wanted to share my experiences on it. Its something that I LOVE, truly, love. I know, I know, its so weird to love something that your child poops in, but I can't help it!

...So a little bit about us...
My husband and I have been married for 3 years and have the sweetest love story if you ask me. He currently serves our country in the United States Air Force and I couldn't be more proud. We're thousands of miles away from our families but settling in quite nicely to our own new family. We have the most amazing, precious, beautiful, charming, wonderful, adorable, sweet, joyful(....okay I think you get it), daughter this world has ever known. Baby E was born May 20th, 2010, 8 days late I might add, and has been a joy ever since. 9 months has just flown right by and she continues to amaze and bless us each day.
I'm simple, silly, and really bad at describing myself. I love being a wife and mom (especially to the husband and daughter I have, they make it really easy!). I love (LOVE) decorating, being crafty, creative, and every now and then I like to cook. I pride myself on being one of the cheapest people I know. I am a bargain hunter to the extreme. I don't stand a chance against those little orange clearance stickers at Target.
I'm learning day by day ways to respect, properly nourish, and cherish these bodies God gave us and along with sharing what I know about fluff, I hope to share some ideas on how to live a little "crunchy" ;)
So sit back, grab a cup of java and be prepared to fall in love with fluffy (baby) butts!
